Many movie fans adore the Mondo line of posters and even fewer people actually own one (I have one, The Master). Well it turns out that Ben Affleck is a big fan of Mondo as well and they have commissioned a series of posters based on his directorial efforts. A word from the director himself:
“I’ve always loved Mondo and their passion for film, as well as their talented stable of artists. I was initially drawn by their ability to offer a unique perspective on so many beloved films and am thrilled to see my films become the newest additions to their work.”
Being a huge fan of Affleck behind the camera, even if I didn’t really like Argo, I love that Mondo is singling out directors for series like this and I hope we get more of them. Gone Baby Gone is my favorite of his three directorial works, but I have to say the poster for The Town is the one I like the most and might try to make a run for.
