Lesley Coffin is film critic and historian, and author of the biography Lew Ayres: Hollywood's Conscientious Objector and Hitchcock's Stars: Alfred Hitchcock and the Hollywood Studio System. She is currently a film critic for The Mary Sue and film contributor for The Interrobang, and former film critic and features editor for Filmoria.co.uk. She completed her undergratuate work at Ball State with double majors in Media Studies and Public History, and a Master's Degree from NYU's Gallatin School for Individualized Studies in the field of Biographical Studies and Star Theory in Film. She is currently completing a biography on the character actor Bruno Kirby.
