I don’t know about you, but every time I inexplicably achieve something great, I celebrate with movies. And pasta. But mostly movies. When I graduated from 8th grade, my dad took me to see Up. When I graduated from high school, my friends and I watched Dazed and Confused. Movies bring us together, yada yada. No, but really, they do; they’re like a common language, where nearly anyone can understand the emotion behind every image and sound. What better way to celebrate winning the Grand Jury Prize in the Documentary Section at the Sundance Film Festival than with movies? Actually, brothers Angulo, subject of the aforementioned winner The Wolfpack (directed by Crystal Moselle), decided to take it upon themselves to reenact their favorite movie scenes. But not just any movies; fellow Sundance alums. There’s a little grit, a little wit, and a lot of fun. Take a look!
