After two pretty impressive teases, Lionsgate have finally dropped a new trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 featuring the fearless leader. Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Gamemaker Plutarch (the late Philip Seymour Hoffman) are the centerpieces of the new footage depicting a broken Katniss, emotionally and physically drained from two trials of the Hunger Games, and how she must conjure enough strength to lead the rebellion against the capital. Of course, we last left Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) in the clutches of the capital and Katniss must also find a way to rescue her friend. She sure has a lot on her plate.
Lionsgate has done an excellent job promoting the newest entry in The Hunger Games franchise. The posters from the various districts depicted below are just a few of the materials that have come out for Mockingjay: Part 1. This third trailer continues to amplify the anticipation for the new film and any footage of Hoffman is wonderful to see.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 opens nationwide on November 21, 2014.
