Today sees the release of this fall’s dose of Liam Neeson in a trailer and poster for A Walk Among the Tombstones. Directed by Scott Frank (The Lookout) and adapted from the novel by Lawrence Block, the plot follows Matt Scudder (Neeson) who is an unlicensed private detective that agrees to look for the men who kidnapped and murdered the wife of a heroin trafficker (Dan Stevens).
I will watch Liam Neeson in anything. I will take him in any capacity, I even saw Battleship just for his 5 minutes of screen time. That’s how deep my love goes. With that said, he looks to be mixing some of his action chops with some gritty dramatic material that should result in a terrific performance. The trailer starts off indicating a dark crime thriller but towards the end gets into some psychological horror territory, and I’m eager to see what the outcome of all this is.
Mark down your calendars for September 19th. Directed by Scott Frank, the film stars Liam Neeson, Dan Stevens and Boyd Holbrook. Check out the trailer and poster below.
