Every long running franchise has its share of problems. In the case of Transformers, that problem might have always been Shia LaBeouf. In the newest trailer for Transformers: Age of Extinction, we are shown a world without Shia and this might be the world we’ve been searching for. The new cast for Transformers features Marc Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, and Nicola Peltz. Certainly that’s an exciting and different cast right? They couldn’t have possibly followed the same exact formula of all the previous films and cast Jack Reynor as Shia LaBeouf. Wait, even the unknown blonde bombshell character has been replicated with Nicola Peltz? Well maybe not much has changed.
The giant talking machines are as extreme as ever and Michael Bay has returned to the directing chair to do what he does best…explosions! From the looks of this latest trailer, Bay is seems ready to up the ante in what he accomplished in the previous three films. The battle between the Autobots and Decepticons continues, while fan-favorite characters like the Dinobots finally make an appearance. What more could fans of Transformers possibly ask for?
Transformers: Age of Extinction is set to open in theaters June 27.
